Landtag Rheinland-Pfalz
A web presence for the public sector must be open to everyone. For the Landtag Rheinland-Pfalz, we delivered the design and frontend and advised on UI/UX, with a modern, representative look and uncompromising accessibility.
Public Sector · AccessibilityAmbition
Public bodies are legally required to be accessible, and for good reason: the Landtag's content must be available to every citizen.
Working with Contens Software GmbH, we built the design and frontend from the ground up to WCAG 2.1, advised on UI/UX, and integrated everything tightly with the Contens CMS.
Representative and accessible at the same time: the two are not mutually exclusive, but it takes discipline in contrast ratios, focus order, keyboard navigation, and semantic markup.
We built a consistent frontend concept and a component system that gives editors room to work without ever compromising accessibility.
Implemented and tested to WCAG 2.1 AA, including keyboard navigation and screen reader runs.
A dignified, clear visual identity that does justice to the institution.
Clean integration with the Contens CMS for everyday editorial work.
