Microsoft's cloud, ideal within existing Microsoft ecosystems.
Microsoft Azure is the natural choice when a project is already at home in the Microsoft world, for example with Entra ID or .NET. Its close integration with those tools saves a lot of effort around sign-in, permissions and operations. Identities that already exist in the company carry over into the cloud, without you building a second user directory. That closeness to existing IT is Azure's strongest argument.
More in the documentationWith Azure we run workloads that should slot into your existing corporate IT as smoothly as possible. If your team already works with Microsoft 365, Entra ID or on-premise Active Directory, single sign-on and familiar roles save you a lot of friction. For .NET applications the path into the cloud is especially short here.
Good to know
Azure spreads its services across resource groups, and a clean split early pays off later. Drop everything into one group and tidying up or assigning rights quickly turns into a mess.
